I really enjoyed that speech...even today. I don't know if how I feel about abolishing the Electoral College, but that is something I will have to ponder for a while.

My understanding of the reason for the electoral college is so that the states with large populations don't run the rest of the country. Not a good idea to get rid of it.

I opine that to get the personal loans from banks you ought to present a great motivation. But, one time I've got a bank loan, just because I was willing to buy a car.

I don't think that there's a need to abolish the Electoral College since it has performed its function in over 50 presidential elections already. This has contributed to the political stability with the distribution of popular support to the elected president.
