Who the Heck is Denny Crane?

Okay, so the "Denny Crane!" category really doesn't belong here.  But it's my blog and I say he can stay! 

So who's Denny Crane anyway?  He's the character played by William Shatner in the ABC TV show Boston Legal.  Yes, I do change my TV channel to ABC instead of FOX News on rare occassions, but don't tell!

Anyway, Denny Crane's a high priced attorney who's so good, all he has to do is walk into court and say, "Denny Crane", and he wins the case!  Seems ludicrous, but afterall, isn't our legal system pretty insane in real life too? 

Although Denny Crane is a partner in the firm (his name is on the door!), he's the most outrageous lawyer on the show.  He has early stages of Alzheimers, but doesn't want to admit it so he calls it "Mad Cow Disease".  He's also the only conservative character on the show - all the other lawyers are liberals so they especially think he's a nut.  So why does ABC have to make the only Republican on the show the crazy guy.  Wishful thinking I guess...'cause we all know the liberals are the real nutjobs!

The show is hilarious in spite of ABC's liberal bias.  The new season premier is on September 19th.  I highly recommend it!
